Many products launch successfully and only run into trouble later: it slows down as users accumulate, something breaks in production, and nobody is watching for it, a third-party service changes, or the bill starts climbing faster than the usage. Live products are usually more urgent, because real people are already affected. We’ll start with a Kickoff meeting and deliver value by the Delivery meeting scheduled two business days later.

Normally, a product built using AI can be rescued and rehabilitated. In most cases, what is needed is targeted work: securing data access, fixing the schema, adding a deployment process, and putting monitoring in. Depending on the situation, we may go component by component and issue a keep, refactor, or rebuild verdict for each one, precisely to avoid the blanket rebuild that would have thrown away months of proven work.

No, but in most cases, having access helps us understand your situation much more accurately and provide better recommendations. There are also situations where access is necessary, including if you would like us to diagnose or fix an issue within your application. If access to your code would be helpful, we will discuss it with you during the Kickoff meeting, and the decision remains entirely yours. We will also be candid about the tradeoff: a technical expert who can review the code directly will often identify opportunities, risks, and solutions that are difficult to uncover from a description alone. If you prefer not to share code, a screen-sharing session can often provide enough visibility to get started.

Before or during the Kickoff meeting, we will provide you with instructions on ways you can securely share your code with us. You can give our team read-only access to your existing repository, share a private copy, or let us work within your own environment. We’ll guide you through the simplest and most secure option for your project.

Yes. Before we begin working together, we enter into an agreement that sets out the applicable terms and conditions, including a mutual non-disclosure and confidentiality provision. Information you share with Rubico is kept confidential and is only made available to the team members who need it to work on your engagement. At the Kickoff meeting, we will first review your needs and expectations. If you have a list of priorities, we encourage you to share it with us so we can focus on what matters most. Based on your priorities and what we discuss during the Kickoff, we will tell you upfront what we believe we can deliver at the Delivery meeting 48 hours later. This could include findings, fixes, software project rescues or improvements needed to move your product forward, such as security hardening, production-readiness and architecture reviews, code and database optimization, performance and scalability improvements, infrastructure and cloud cost reviews, vulnerability scans, testing and monitoring, CI/CD and deployment support, bug fixes, or targeted feature development.
